Have you had enough of feeling like there is something wrong but don’t know how to make it better? Maybe you are overwhelmed by life, wanting to feel more in control but not sure where to start? Or maybe you’re hiding your true self, the person you want to be, because the judgment of others is just too much to bear? If any of these struggles ring true for you, then I believe, together, we can figure it all out.
As a fully qualified person centred counsellor I can offer you the time and space to talk about the challenges you face, without fear of judgement. Together we can explore how you might bring about positive changes in your life.
You can choose between in person, telephone or video sessions.
Writing for wellbeing can help you to rediscover your inner voice, become aware of what you want and need, and help you to feel calmer in moments of challenge.
Using various individual writing tasks along with group discussions and support you will develop your awareness and improve your wellbeing.
Being outdoors in nature has many benefits including improving your physical and mental wellbeing.
Walk and talk counselling provides you with the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings away from the therapy room, which may be a little intense for some people.
Moving whilst talking can also help you to feel less 'stuck' as the natural surroundings influence and inspire you to delve deeper as your body and mind connect.
My name is Heather and I am a fully qualified person centred counsellor working with clients both face to face in my counselling room in Denby Dale and remotely via video call and telephone.
I believe each and every one of us has the ability to move forward, away from distress and self-doubt, to become confident in our own decision making and trust our inner voice. Too often we look to others for what we should do, and live life according to what they want and need. With my help, understanding and compassion, I can help you find your own path, the one that is right for you.
